Dochas Wellness

A Name with a Purpose

Dochas Wellness was created with a clear purpose: to nurture healing, resilience, and hope for people and communities facing hard times.
Our name comes from the Irish word for hope and optimism, and it reflects our belief that connection, safety, and recovery are possible for every person, including you.

Our Services

Who We Support and How

We support people at high risk for suicide and those living with trauma, emotional crisis, or acute and ongoing stress. Our work includes trauma-informed therapy and care, crisis stabilization, education, and collaborative consultation with the systems that shape daily life, including workplaces, schools, families, and community organizations. Together, we focus on both your immediate safety and the longer-term supports, formal and informal, that help you stay grounded.

Our Approach

Building Hope Through Evidence

Every decision we make is shaped by a clear sense of purpose. Our journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.

From our Community

  • “Her compassionate, good-humored nature, combined with her extensive knowledge, enables her to effectively support clients through complex challenges and foster meaningful change in their lives.”

    ~Nichole Sargent

  • “No one – not even Hannah herself – could tell you the number of hours she’s spent connecting first responders to services or engaging with them directly to stabilize them in their moment of most dire need. There’s no question that she has saved lives, and has kept some police and fire professionals on the front lines that would otherwise have left (or lost) their jobs.”

    ~ Charles Rumsey
    30-year law enforcement professional.
